Atkins Bars, Don’t Overdo Them In The Beginning.

The Atkins Bars have their well deserved place in the diet. But be aware of how long you have been on the plan, and be aware of how you feel after substituting a meal with an Atkins bar.

When you are following the Atkins eating plan you might want to try the Atkins bars. But even though they are recommended in the Atkins diet plan, I would be careful with them. Dr. Atkins has passed on, and the Atkins company is no longer run by Dr. Atkins therefore some of the changes the new owners have made may not necessarily reflect Dr. Atkins idea of what this eating plan is all about. All this is your own decision, but in my eyes, changes made after his death, is not 100% according to The Atkins Diet, so be careful with those Atkins Bars.

Some ingredients in Atkins bars, are more suitable in later stages of the diet, and not really appropriate for starting out with the diet. The Atkins bars have many ingredients that are not quite legal in the eating plan at the beginning. Those who eat the Atkins bars too early may notice they are not losing much weight. And even though the Atkins bars has the Atkins name on it, it has been a problem for many who have found that they stopped losing weight. Once they stopped eating the bars, they started dropping weight again.

However, later on in the diet plan, when you are eating more diverse carb’s The Atkins Bars have their well deserved place in the diet. One of the better features of The Atkins Diet is that most on the plan will lose most of their appetite, and that is part of the secret of why it works. The Atkins bar is a great substitute when you in those later stages of the diet find yourself without appetite for breakfast or lunch. But be aware of how long you have been on the plan, and be aware of how you feel after substituting a meal with an Atkins bar.

I think the Atkins bars are fine nutrients, and they certainly have a place in this eating plan, but use caution and consideration when you eat them. They are not for everyone, and you will probably be better of starting out lightly, maybe for just one or two days for one week to be sure they agree with your body, and then add more in if you like. You might be tempted to try them early on, but anyone hoping to succeed should give it a few months before they try them to be sure their system is ready to handle them without adverse affects to their eating plan. When it comes to finding something simple and easy, the Atkins bars are great when appropriate.
