How A 3-day Detox Diet Can Help You Lose Weight


Is there a fast and easy way to feel and look better? Well, a 3-day detox diet might be close enough. It is a detoxification process that quickly cleans out your system and gets rid of all the build up of toxins and waste.

The three day detox diet isn't hard to do because it lasts just 3 days. There are people who actually enjoy doing it. A few variations of the diet can be found so you will have to decide which to follow based on what you want to achieve.

It is important that you do not drink coffee, tea, soda, or alcoholic beverages during this entire process. And, of course, junk food is also not allowed. It's only for 3 days so it shouldn't be too hard.

Day One

In the morning after you awaken, have a glass of water. You'll be having plenty of water for the duration of the diet. A few glasses of fruit juice is fine, however, it should be fresh juice and not the concentrated kind with sugar.

For breakfast, eat a light wholegrain cereal and fruit. Then, lunch and dinner will consist of vegetables and fresh fish. It is best to either steam or boil your meals. You can also have salad and fruits but try to stick with vegetables and water because they are foods that help in the elimination process.

For the purpose of exercising, walking briskly for half an hour will do.

Day Two

The detoxification process is well underway. Breakfast should consist of fresh fruit and water. For lunch, have a green salad and for dinner, have fish and vegetables. Again, you can either steam or boil your meals.

During the day, you may start feeling lighter and more energized. You'll also start losing the bloatedness around the stomach.

Day 3

Continue having water and fruit. Your body is being cleansed of all the toxins and waste. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are the same as the previous 2 days. But for today, try exerting as little energy as possible.

Many dieters will have no problems with the 3-day detox diet while others might think it's tough since their favourite foods aren't allowed. Just note that the diet's duration is merely a few days. More importantly, it provides your body with time-off from having to digest foods that consist of all kinds of potentially harmful additives.
